Project Overview
This landscape design therefore deals first and foremost with the major challenge of restoring wetlands for the reception of protected bird species globally and nationally.
This objective requires the restoration of large areas of marshes on the order of 1500 to 2000 ha in the south of the Wolong lake in order to attract certain sensitive species such as the Siberian Crane, which represents 80% of the world population of this species.
This is undoubtedly the main ecological attraction of Lake Wolong which must be strengthened as a priority: to encourage the return of the many bird species present during the 2010 ecological reference state.
